The category includes hand and surface disinfectants from Caola Zrt., which has been operating since 1831 and is currently under Hungarian ownership. The products are characterized by high quality and competitive prices. The role of hand disinfectants is particularly important during a global pandemic. Proper hand hygiene can reduce the number of people getting sick and reinfections. Hand disinfectants are usually alcohol-based and can damage the skin with long-term use, which is why they are supplemented with hand-friendly ingredients. Thanks to pro-vitamin B5 and vitamin E, they do not dry out the hands.

There are several solutions for hand sanitizers. There are disinfectant hand washes (liquid soaps) on the market, which can only be used in sinks or places suitable for hand washing. These products should be applied to wet hands and then rinsed with clean water after the exposure time has elapsed. The other option is hand sanitizers that can be used without rinsing. This product should simply be applied to the surface of the hand and left to dry. Due to the alcohol, this happens relatively quickly, within a few seconds. In the case of the latter product, we can distinguish two types, one is gel-based and the other is liquid-based hand sanitizers. Gel-based products are available in very small packages that can be placed in a bag or pocket, while liquid-based products are only available in larger 500 ml, 1 liter, and 5 liter bottles. Both types can be used with automatic and manual dispensers, but you must pay attention to choosing the right type. Gel products can be used with a holder suitable for dispensing liquid soap, while liquid can be used with a spray dispenser. Another important aspect when choosing a dispenser is the tightness of the device. These are alcohol-based products, so they evaporate. The gel is therefore more prone to drying out.
