Main goals and guidelines

Energy efficiency developments: In order to improve energy efficiency, the modernization of public buildings, institutions and other infrastructures is given a high priority.
Legal framework

Hungary adopted the National Green Public Procurement Strategy in 2021, which is in line with the European Union's green objectives and the 2030 climate protection targets. The directive aims to increase the share of green procurement and promote sustainability considerations in public procurement procedures.
