USE OF THERMOGENEMETERS AND INFRARED THERMOMETERS
Non-contact infrared thermometers are becoming increasingly popular among institutions and home users. They are simple and fast to use. In the situation caused by the coronavirus, demand has increased dramatically, with which manufacturers have tried to keep up, and with mass production, the price of the devices has decreased, making them accessible to everyone. Thermometers are excellent for use during entry, in schools, sports halls, hospitals, etc.
USAGE AND FEATURES OF THE NON-CONTACT THERMOMETER
The measurement time is approx. 0.5 - 1 sec. The display is large, the measured value is clearly visible, and the different temperature statuses are highlighted by color and sound signals. Multiple measured values can be stored in the device's memory, so you can track, for example, the change in body temperature between measurements. The devices determine the temperature of the measured surface with an accuracy of - 0.2 °C. They are lightweight, so they can be used all day long, even in busy places. The object temperature measurement range is 0 - 100°C, and body temperature can be measured from 32 to 42.9°C.
After turning on the device, select the measurement mode, whether you want to use it to measure object or body temperature. After that, the measurement should be performed by holding the device perpendicular to the surface at a distance of 3-5 cm. The measured value will appear on the display immediately after pressing the device's switch. In the case of body temperature measurement, the given state is indicated by 3 different background colors. Normal, feverish, or feverish state are displayed in green, yellow, and red. It is important that there are no obstacles between the measuring device and the surface. For example, the patient's hair, etc. It is worth repeating the measurement 3 times in a row and taking the average as a basis, for example, in the case of illness. After that, you can start reducing the fever if necessary.
